A large and powerful species recently reintroduced into England. Our male White-Tailed Sea Eagle, Donald, is quickly becoming a favourite amongst visitors here at Cotswold Falconry.
The Indian Tawny Eagle is found widely throughout the Indian Subcontinent, frequently in urban developments around landfill sites and slaughterhouses. Our bird, Hare, regularly demonstrates his flying skills in our shows.
Found in steppe, semi-desert and open hillside, the Steppe Eagle is a medium-sized ENDANDERED eagle that spends our summers in Eastern Europe and central Asia, and over-winters in Africa.
African Fish Eagles can be found throughout sub-Saharan Africa, wherever there are large bodies of water. Our pair, River and Kei, are regularly flown together to soar and demonstrate thier very distinctive (and loud) call.

Having been heavily persecuted as competition to the fishing industry and affected greatly by the agricultural chemicals, recent years of protection have seen a widespread recovery in it's North American population.
A successful scavenger, hunter and pirate of Africa’s dry and open lands. We upgraded our pair's aviary at the start of 2016 and are hopeful of future breeding of this VULNERABLE species.
With a range throughout much of the Northern Hemisphere, the Golden Eagle has been long admired for its power and hunting ability. We have flown this species in the past, but now hope our pair will settle and breed.
